Gambiered Guangdong Gauze is a dyeing and finishing process, with the silkworm silk as raw material, and with the warp yarn that is woven into mini jacquard in geometrical structure. After the leno fabrics and the plain silk fabrics are woven, the greige is soaked and dried for several times by the juice of dye yam which is a special plant in Guangdong (containing gum and tannic acid), so that the fabric is glued with a yellow-brown gelatinous substance. It is then covered with river mud which is rich in various minerals in the Pearl River Delta region. Finally, it is processed into an expensive yarn silk after repeated drying, washing and fermentation. Because of its unique manufacturing process, scarce quantity, long production time and exquisite skills, it is characterized by smooth wear, coolness, sterilization, deworming, and health care for the skin. In the past, it was called soft gold, and it was only available to the noble families. It is now a silk fabric dyed and treated by pure plants and minerals in the world's textiles. Due to the complicated manufacturing process, it is still the only green environmental protection fabric in the world.
