On November 30th, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism organized and held the 2019 Guangdong Provincial Cultural and Tourism Industry Working Conference in Guangzhou, with the main task of implementing the national and provincial work deployment on cultural and tourism industry development. Zhao Hong, Party Member and Deputy Director of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, attended the conference and delivered a speech. Nearly 100 people attended the conference including the leaders of municipal culture, broadcasting, television, sports and sports bureaus, the heads of cultural industry departments (sections), and the officers in charge of operating organizations for relevant national and provincial cultural industry demonstration parks (bases).

In December 2016, the Ancient Nanfeng Kiln was successfully finalized in the first batch of "Guangdong Provincial Cultural Tourism Integrated Development Demonstration Areas", which was the only selected tourism unit in Foshan. In 2017, the Ancient Nanfeng Kiln actively responded to the call of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Culture, and applied for the establishment of a provincial cultural industry demonstration park. After two years of construction and development, the Ancient Nanfeng Kiln successfully passed the acceptance in 2019 and became the provincial cultural industry demonstration park in Guangdong.
The Ancient Nanfeng Kiln actively responds and takes the lead in the course that the tourism departments at all levels across the province increase their efforts to build tourism across the region, actively increase the supply of products, and guide the traditional sightseeing tours to the experience and leisure tours.
The Ancient Nanfeng Kiln culturally relies on the "pottery culture + Lingnan culture + intangible cultural heritage culture", adheres to the development of cultural industries as the core, invests in large-scale hardware transformation, and integrates its own service team and external cooperation service agency resources to provide various public services for the enterprises in the park such as financial services, logistics support, business taxation, entrepreneurship training, business opportunity connection, event venues, cultural exchanges, property services and publicity platforms, which has become the cultural industry demonstration park.

In order to create an artistic atmosphere and increase opportunities for cultural industry transactions, the Ancient Nanfeng Kiln holds various cultural events throughout the year, and actively adopts the rent preferential policy to attract pottery art masters, intangible cultural heritage masters, original talents, designers and other projects to locate in the park. At present, there are more than a dozen intangible cultural heritage projects such as kiln burning, pottery throwing, micro-carving, paper cutting, Chinese zither, Wing Chun, and oil-paper umbrella. An "intangible cultural heritage research base" is created, and a rich cultural industry ecosystem has been formed.
With the rich pottery civilization, the Ancient Nanfeng Kiln has attracted a number of domestic and foreign pottery artists to settle in every year. Among them, there are two major pottery art maker bases centered on the Pottery Incubation Base of College Students in Pottery Valley Creative Market and the Xingtao Culture and Art Village. The monthly Pottery Valley Creative Market is held as a window for makers to market.
Since 2016, the Ancient Nanfeng Kiln has successively launched a series of transformation projects such as the planning of the park's moving lines and the division of functional areas, focusing on the new tourist lines, the construction of Heping Road Square and Tietong Pioneer Square, the transformation of Chimney Square and Dragon Kiln Square, the renovation of lighting in Dragon Kiln Square and the construction of the largest ceramic training base in the Pearl River Delta.
